Succession of Cainozoic Vertebrate Assemblages from the Northern Kenya Rift Valley

Abstract

A succession of twelve different fossiliferous units in the Baringo area ranges in time from about 14 m.y. to the Holocene. The early part of the sequence provides for the first time faunal and stratigraphic evidence for the period between 5 m.y. and the Fort Ternan sediments dated about 14 m.y.
