Localization of Choline Acetyltransferase: Histochemistry at the Light Microscope Level

Abstract

The techniques for the histochemical detection of choline acetyltransferase, outlined in the following articles, will facilitate studies of the intracellular organization of cholinergic neurones and their distribution in the CNS.
