Rotational Properties of Neutron Star Models

Abstract

IT has been suggested that pulsars are rotating neutron stars1 and that the energy source of the Crab nebula is the loss of rotational energy from the Crab pulsar2. Because neutron stars are quite dense, general relativistic effects are large and cannot be neglected.
