Abstract
A RECENT report1 of suggested lactose intolerance in a group of Asian students, and the conclusion drawn from this that the inclusion in food aid programmes of milk and milk products may not be the best method of helping underdeveloped Asian countries, must be a matter of considerable concern to nutritionists and others associated with the promotion of dairy products.
