Abstract
Certain strains of mice immunized with liver extracts from other strains of mice produced precipitating antibody against an antigen present in the livers of all mice and many other mammals. Immunization with liver extracts from the same inbred strain did not induce antibody formation. The situation can be analysed genetically.
