Abstract
THE preparation of a series of fractions1 of commercial bovine heparin with varying molecular weight and biological activity by solvent (ethanol-water) elution and by Ecteola column chromatography gave us an opportunity to investigate the role of electrostatic interactions on the anti-coagulant activity of these fractions.
