Increased Radiosensitivity in Lens esculentum Seeds irradiated in a Mononucleotide Solution

Abstract

WE know from previous work that it is possible to incorporate a mononucleotide into a polynucleotide by means of γ-radiation1–4. This communication describes the results of some experiments which we have carried out to explore the possibility that a similar model could be applied to biological systems and could take into account the development of mutations.
