Preputial Gland as a Site of Nematode Parasitism

Abstract

THE number of sites of nematode infection recorded in both plants and animals is already great, and in mammalian hosts, at least, most parts of the body providing a moist, well vascularized medium and ready access to the body surface have been identified with nematode parasitism. This communication reports nematode invasion of the preputial gland of a south-eastern Australian murid rodent.
