Syntheses of Optically Active α-Amino-acids from α-Keto-acids by Hydrogenolytic Asymmetric Transamination

Abstract

MANY asymmetric syntheses of α-amino -acids have been reported1–17. Several of these were made on the non-enzyme synthesis of optically active amino-acids from their corresponding α-keto-acids1,4,13,15,16.
