Abstract
THE antibiotic, gliotoxin, first described by Weindling and Emerson1, has been isolated from cultures of various organisms, Trichoderma viride1,2, Gliocladium fimbriatum3, Aspergillus fumigatus4, Penicillium obscurum5, P. cinerascens6 and P. terlikowski7.
