Cleavage of Mammalian Ova inhibited by Visible Light

Abstract

AMONG workers in the field of mammalian embryo culture the suspicion has existed that ova exposed to visible light lose some of their capacity for cleavage. In the interest of clarification the following investigations were undertaken.
