Abstract
DURING the course of an investigation on the water permeability and penetration of molecules of different sizes into single fibres of frog muscle, antidiuretic hormone was added to the bathing fluids. An increase in the rate of penetration and a separation in two phases of the curve of water penetration into fibres in hypotonic fluid was found.
