Abstract
INVESTIGATION into the presence of hæmoglobin and its possible synthesis within the nucleus of primitive erythroblasts obtained from chick blood islands cultured in vitro1 has indicated the desirability of a micro-method to isolate nuclei from relatively small numbers of cells1,2.
