Abstract
PREVIOUSLY we have reported the discovery of antistaphylococcic factors in ox tissues1 as well as their concentration by ion exchange procedures2. After a preliminary experiment which indicated the presence of at least two active factors, we now have succeeded in separating three distinct fractions which will protect mice from death by experimentally induced Staphylococcus aureus infections.
