Abstract
IN a recent article, Kidd, Silverman, Whitney and Aarons1 reported an unusual inversion of the frequency dependence of radio star scintillations during the magnetic storm of October 28, 1961. It is the purpose of this communication to report on the unusually large fluctuations in the 5577A OI airglow line intensity during the same period.
