Abstract
NEW clinical problems have arisen from the intensive use of antibiotics during the past twenty years. During this time, several aspects of those problems have been studied in an attempt to elucidate the various mechanisms related to the sensibility, resistance and dependence of micro-organisms as well to the mode of action of antibiotics.
