Abstract
THE fruit Nipa hindi (Rode) Sahni was collected by Prof. K. P. Rode from Intertrappean beds of Mohgaonkalan, Chhindwara District, in 1933. So far it has been a holotype of Nipa from Deccan Intertrappeans of India.
