Abstract
IN immunoelectrophoresis, according to Grabar and Williams1, diffusion of the electrophoretically separated antigens towards the immune serum added in longitudinal basins parallel to the migration axis after the electrophoretic separation will result in the formation of precipitates in the gel, occupying varying positions between antigen and antibody diffusion centres as well as varying electrophoretic positions.
