The Clock Paradox of Relativity

Abstract

THE clock paradox of relativity is, in my view, due to an error in Einstein's paper1 which has not hitherto been noted and which may be more obvious to an experimental than to a theoretical physicist. Prof. H. Dingle has suggested2 that there must be an error in this section of the paper without pointing out what I believe to be its true nature or giving the true explanation.
