Abstract
THERE are many models of thermobalances for making the curves, p = f(t), of the loss of weight of a sample during heating. These suffer from the disadvantage that, if they are made automatic by an optical recording device, they sometimes produce records too small to display with sufficient precision the onset of reactions accompanied by a small loss of weight.
