Application of the Dische Diphenylamine Reaction to Pyrimidine Deoxynucleosides

Abstract

THE Dische diphenylamine reaction1, which is specific for 2-deoxysugars2, is not suitable for the estimation of pyrimidine deoxynucleosides3,4 because of the incompleteness of colour development.
