Abstract
IT has earlier been found that species of the genus Marasmius produce antibiotic substances1,2. Recent work on antibiotics has shown that Marasmius urens (Bull). Fr. is highly active against several pathogenic bacteria (Öblom and Wallmark, unpublished). The present investigation deals with some nutritional effects upon the production of the active substances.
