Nucleic Acids in Drosophila Eggs, and Y-Chromosome Effects

Abstract

CALLAN‘S recent extension1 of our study of the effect of the Y-chromosome on the egg cytoplasm of Drosophila2,3 has given results apparently at variance with those we obtained. A brief comment at the present time may be of some use, in clarifying the issues involved for further work.
