Abstract
THE second annual conference of Plant Breeders under the auspices of the Agricultural Research Council was held during November 11-12 at the John Inned Horticultural Institution. Sixty-four members attended, including representatives of English, Scotted and Welsh plant-breeding stations, some overseas visitors, and geneticists from the universities. Prof. F. T. Brooks represented the Agricultural Research Council. Dr. C. D. Darlington was in the chair.
