Abstract
IN a paper which is being issued as a scientific report by the Defence Research Board, Ottawa, and which may be published elsewhere later, I have shown that it is impossible by means of the Maxwell–Lorentz theory of electromagnetism to obtain a reasonable or consistent result for the following problem.
