An Erratum to this article was published on 07 June 1947

This article has been updated

Abstract

INVESTIGATIONS recently carried out on the variation with temperature of the magnetic susceptibility of annealed and cold-worked copper have shown a different temperature-dependence in the two cases. A qualitative attempt is made to account for the difference on present theoretical lines.
