Abstract
ON June 16, 20 and 21, the National Physical Laboratory, was ‘open’ to visitors for the first term since 1939: visitors on the first day included the delegates to the Royal Society Empire Scientific Conference, in the second, members of the staff of the universities and on the third, representatives of the Services and industry.
