Abstract
PERSONAL experiences of great men are always interesting, and often instructive. There has lately come to light a diary of his health by the immortal Charles Robert Darwin, from 1849 until 1854. It is now in the possession of the British Association for the Advancement of Science1, and the Association's Secretary, Dr. O. J. R. Howarth, has permitted me to read it. It consists of thirty-four pages of unruled foolscap.
