Abstract
DR. J. F. G. WHEELER has done some excellent work on the Nemerteans. Following his monograph on this group from the South Atlantic and Southern Ocean in the “Discovery” Reports (1934) his present three contributions are of distinct value*. With his experience of the Antarctic fauna he is able to show that Lineus corrugatus M'Intosh is an almost, if not wholly, purely Antarctic or sub-Antarctic species and that it does not, as was supposed, occur in South Africa. More than half the total number of specimens of Nemerteans collected by the B. A. N. Z. Antarctic Expedition consisted of this species.
