Abstract
IN the Atlantic Charter one of the primary postwar objects of the British Empire and the United States is that of freeing the peoples of the world from want. Much has been said and written of plans for post-war reconstruction, and of these that of feeding Europe must be put into operation the moment the War ends, and, unless it is provided for, a situation might well develop which will become completely out of hand.
