Abstract
A VALUABLE collection of paintings and bronzes of international repute illustrating Indian art and religion has recently been added to the national collections by donation to the Department of Oriental Antiquities of the British Museum (Bloomsbury). It has been given by Mrs. E. C. Moor and was formed by her husband's grandfather, Major Edward Moor, F.R.S. (1771–1848), while gathering material for his pioneer work “The Hindu Pantheon” (1810).
