Abstract
THE eleventh edition of a pamphlet giving information about the British Electrical and Allied Manufacturers' Association (BEAMA) has just been published. The president of the Association is the Earl of Derby. The objects of the Association are to foster and protect the electrical and allied industries in Great Britain. It aims at securing the co-operation of every firm in the electrical and allied industries so that, by co-operative action, it can speak for the whole of those industries on all matters affecting them. The Standardization Committee acts as a centre and clearing house for the many activities of its members in connexion with standardization and the British Standards Institution. The Association's numerous technical and other committees are continuously at work in the interests of the sections by which they are appointed and of the members generally. The address of the Association is 36 Kings-way, W. C. 2.
