Abstract
SOME recent claims in connexion with the cytological explanation of meiosis raise very important questions when taken in conjunction with morphological development. This matter is brought to a climax by the recent report in NATURE of a paper read by Prof. C. L. Huskins1 to the Royal Society of Canada.
