Abstract

(1) THE author of this book requires no introduction to those who have followed his work on the decay of timber. As may be expected in a book written by a professor of the University of Idaho, forest pathology is dealt with almost entirely from the point of view of North America, but as the causes of disease and decay, and the control measures necessary, are largely common to other regions, the book should be of interest to foresters generally.
