Abstract
HEVESY and Alexander have recently1 published some very interesting figures on the variation of the relative intensities of the Lβ2 and Lβ3 lines of silver under fluorescent excitation by primary X-radiations of varying frequency. Lβ2 is LIIINv and Lβ3 is LIMIII. The reported change in the intensity ratio is from 100:25 at 2.6 A. to 100:60 at 1.3 A.
