Abstract
LONDON. Linnean Society Dec. 1.—A. T. Hopwood: Exhibition of vebrate remains from the Miocene of Kenya Colony. These specimens are the first mammal from beds older than the very top of the Pliocene recorded from the eastern half of Central Africa. The collection contains three genera of creodonts, two of artiodactyls, and three or four of rodents containing some seven or eight species. The rodents are closely allied to those living in the region at the present day.
