Abstract
IN the Proceedings of the Royal Society, Ser. B. Vol. 99, No. 694, December 1, 1925, W. E. Garner has published a paper that has interested us very much, because we are studying the possibility of a similar theory of muscular contraction. There is, however, sufficient difference in the mode in which we formulate our theory to make it worth while to describe our hypothesis. Moreover, we have succeeded in several experiments in producing evidence in support of our suppositions.
