Abstract
THE Fifth International Congress of the History of Medicine was held at Geneva on Monday, July ao-Friday, July 24, under the presidency of Dr. Charles Greene Cumston, lecturer in the history of medicine at the University of Geneva, with Sir D'Arcy Power as president of honour. The meetings, which were held at the Athenee, where the conference leading to the formation of the Red Cross took place in 1863, were well attended, representatives being present from Belgium, Cuba, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Holland, Italy, Morocco, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States.
