Abstract
THE report of Explorations and Field-work of the Smithsonian Institution for 1913 (Smithsonian Miscellaneous Collections, vol. lxiii., No. 8, 1914), including the National Museum, Bureau of American Ethnology, and Astrophysical Observatory, represents much activity in various directions, even if, owing to scarcity of funds, some promising enterprises were abandoned.
