Les Éclipses d'Hiver et les Éclipses d'Été

Abstract

Nous venons d'assister á un phénoméne tréscurieux le 17 avril dernier. Au premier abord il parait avoir e´te´ le re´sultat d'une faveur exceptionnelle d'E´sole. Monsieur Angot, le savant Directeur du bureau central me´te´orologique de France, a compulse´avec soin l'histoire de la science qu'il cultive si assidûment, il est arrive´ ´l'ide´e que les astronomes faisant d'immenses pre´paratifs pour observer l'e´clipse á terre avaient tre´s peu de chance de rencontrer un ciel serein permettant d'arriver a´des mesures angulaires irre´prochables; il leur en attribuait huit sur cent.
