Abstract
CAMBRIDGE.—It is proposed, in connection with the Darwin centenary, to confer the degree of Doctor of Science, honoris causa, upon the following:—Otto Bütschli, professor of zoology in the University of Heidelberg; Richard Hertwig, professor of zoology in the University of Munich; Hermann Graf zu Solms-Laubach, professor of botany in the University of Strassburg; F. Vejdovský, professor of zoology in the Bohemian University of Prague; and Max Verworn, professor of physiology in the University of Göttingen.
