Abstract
THE issue of the Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society for October, 1904, contains a translation of the report on the international observations of clouds presented by Prof. H. H. Hildebrandsson to the Permanent International Committee during its session at Southport in 1903. It is not too much to say that this report is on e of the most important contributions to our knowledge of the physics of the atmosphere which the last twenty-five years have brought forth, and the Royal Meteorological Society has rendered a substantial service by making the report accessible to English readers.
