Abstract
I. Direction of Preliminary Inquiry. I HAVE recently been prosecuting some inquiries on the orientation of Egyptian temples which have led me to the conclusion that in all probability the temples, and the gods and goddesses in the Egyptian Pantheon to which they were dedicated, were in some way connected with the sun and certain stars.
