Abstract
THE “Statement exhibiting the Moral and Material Progress and Condition of India,” recently issued, devotes, as usual, a section to the survey work of the past year, of which the following is a summary. The work of the Survey of India is divided under five heads, namely:—(1) Trigonometrical Survey, (2) Topographical survey, (3) Cadastral Survey, (4) Special Surveys and Explorations, (5) Map Production.
