Abstract
THE visitation of the Royal Observatory took place on Satur-day last, when, in spite of bad weather, there was a numerous attendance. The foil awing extracts (condensed in some case) from the Report of the Astronomer-Royal to the Board of Visitors indicate the work of the past year. It will be gratifying to all to knuw that a considerable increase in the optical power of the Observatory is in contemplation.
